Coating Surveys

Coating Surveys

Coating surveys are performed to set the bases for a sound maintenance program but are also used to determine maintenance costs for budgetary purposes, evaluate coating performance, calculate the coatings remaining life, among other.

During this activity, several disciplines are combined such as the evaluation of the degree of corrosion of a coated structure, the determination of the contaminants that are present in the environment and on the surfaces to be coated, in combination with a detailed visual inspection, with the sole objective of providing an exhaustive evaluation of the conditions of the applied coatings and the various assets in a plant.
